The Water Hyacinth Ship is, in my opinion, the most important boat that appears in the series of works under the Boat Dream Bridge. The name ‘Water Gourd Boat’ comes from an aquatic plant that is very common in the inland waterways of Ningbo and other cities. They originated from Africa and were later introduced into China as a water purification plant. However, since water hyacinth has no natural enemies, it has become an invasive species in the rivers and lakes, causing great impacts on the local rivers and lakes. So people started to use various methods to solve this problem, and now it has been greatly improved.
